Electing representatives to a special online conference on 9 October 2025

We are looking for volunteers to represent the Cheshire East Local Association at the NASUWT Special ONLINE Conference on Thursday 9 October 2025 from 5.30pm

A Special Online Conference will be held on Thursday 9 October 2025 from 5.30pm to consider a motion on recommendations on subscriptions. This Special Conference will have a single item agenda and no further motions may be submitted. The national union will be supporting the process of nomination for Elected Representatives to the Special Online Conference.

Every Local Association has the opportunity to elect members to attend this Special Online Conference to debate and vote on this motion. Every full member of the Union is entitled to seek election. 

 If you would like to be considered by the Cheshire East Local Association to be an elected Representative at the Special Online Conference you should contact your association as soon as possible and at the latest by the 30th September. Please note this is a separate process from the Annual Conference 2026 nominations and you will need to register your interest for that Conference separately.

If more nominations are received than places available a ballot of members of the Local Association will be held. Members who have been successfully nominated will be notified by the Local Association.
